Yuanyang County is located in south-eastern Yunnan, approximately 176 miles southeast of the provincial capital of Kunming.
There is no airport in Yuanyang due to its geographical location.
You can take the high-speed train from Kunming to Honghe (红河) or Mengzi (蒙自). The driver will pick you up at the Honghe or Mengzi train stations. The train from Kunming to Honghe takes 1.5 hours and the train from Kunming to Mengzi takes 3 hours.
