Arrival in Guiyang

A Keats teacher and a Keats driver will accompany you throughout the whole trip. You will set out from Kunming by taking a private car to Guiyang.
Check into your hotel in Guiyang and spend the rest of the day at leisure, exploring local cuisine and nearby attractions in Guiyang.

Day 2
Visit Huangguoshu Waterfall
Take a day trip to Huangguoshu Waterfall, one of the largest waterfalls in China and East Asia. The waterfall is powerful during the rainy season and can be viewed from various angles through a series of pathways and viewing platforms.
Return to Guiyang for the night.

Day 3
Explore Fanjing Mountain
Head out early to Fanjing Mountain, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its rich biodiversity and spiritual significance.
Spend the day hiking and visiting temples. Stay overnight in accommodations near Fanjing Mountain to experience the tranquil mountain atmosphere.

Zhenyuan Ancient Town and Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village
In the morning, visit Zhenyuan Ancient Town and explore its historical sites. Zhenyuan has over 2,000 years of history and is famous for its well-preserved ancient architecture. The town is bisected by the Wuyang River, with the historic Black Dragon Cave complex—a series of temples built into the rock face—overlooking the water. Zhenyuan combines natural beauty with historical and cultural depth.
In the afternoon, travel to Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village. It is the largest Miao village in the world and is often referred to as the ‘Thousand Household Miao Village’. It showcases the Miao people’s unique lifestyle, architecture, and silver jewelry. The village is set in a picturesque valley and offers insights into Miao festivals, music, dance, and traditional customs.

Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village to Libo
Spend the morning further exploring Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village.

Libo Xiaoqikong and Daqikong Scenic Areas

In the late afternoon, head to Qingyan Ancient Town. It dates back to the Ming Dynasty and is one of the most famous historical towns in Guizhou.
