Feng XUE
Founder
Feng XUE used to work in the largest hospital in Yunnan - The First People's Hospital. Feng is a physician and also a traditional Chinese medicine doctor. In 2004, she started to have a passion for education and founded Keats School together with Zier Liu. Feng developed many teaching methods that are widely used in our daily teaching. She welcomes anyone who wants to learn Mandarin to come to Keats. As Keats, you will fall in love with the Chinese language and Chinese culture.
Zier Liu
Founder
Zier was born and raised in China, and is now settled in the city of Kunming. She spent four years living in America where she completed a Bachelor of Management Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). In 2004, Zier co-founded the Keats Chinese Language School in Kunming. Being a Chinese language teacher herself, Zier has developed a systematic teaching methodology suited to Westerners of all cultural backgrounds. Her passion for teaching Chinese means she is continually seeking out ways to make acquiring the language easier and more interesting. Not only does she focus on language form, she also helps students understand Chinese culture and Chinese thinking. This is what makes Keats stand out from other Chinese language schools, and has been recognized as such with the many awards her school has received.
Eddie Wang
Administrative Director
Eddie has an extensive knowledge base about Kunming and Yunnan, and will be helping with the orientation. Whether you have queries about accommodation, transportation, food, local customs, your Chinese lessons, your teacher, your class schedule etc., he is here to assist you. Moving to a new country can be challenging with a different language and cultural norms. Eddie's goal is to bridge that gap and make your transition as smooth as possible.
