Breaking! China is open for X2 student visa from TODAY!

After a long wait of 3 years, China finally opens its border today, on Jan 8th, 2023! We can’t express how excited we are to finally welcome you to study Chinese in China. I know many of you have also been waiting to come to China. Although we have been through a hard time in the past three years, we renovated existing school dorm rooms, finished decorating more new dorm rooms, and prepared a brand new gym in the school.

We want to express our sincere gratitude to all the students who donated masks when COVID first started, who paid tuition fees in advance to support the school, who paid tuition fees but were unable to come due to China’s COVID policies, who have been studying with Keats online or offline, who have been in contact with Keats caring about China’s situation, who follow Keats’s social media accounts, and who have passion about China and Chinese language. We can’t thank you enough! Now it’s time to welcome you all to study Chinese at Keats.

From today, Jan 8th, 2023, you can apply for an X2 student visa to come to China. It is not a problem that L tourist visa hasn’t been resumed temporarily yet, because you can apply for an X2 student visa for a Chinese language program that is 1 week to 24 weeks long.

The flight may still be expensive, but it will decrease dramatically as more airlines resume quickly. You can register on our website at keatschinese.com, and we will guide you through the next step.

Thank you so much! We appreciate your support and patience! We are so excited and can’t wait to see you in 2023.

Intensive One-on-One Chinese Classes

I took the one-on-one Intensive Chinese class for 6 hours a day. The classes are very interesting. The teachers are caring and the content the teacher teaches me is suitable for my level. It is an easy way to learn Mandarin. I have a lot of time practicing Chinese in class. The food is great here. I have improved my Chinese through this program at Keats.

Intensive One-on-One Chinese Classes

At Keats, I have a lot of opportunities to practice what I have learned. I really like this school, because I can learn Chinese in one-on-one style, so I think this is the best immersion program in China and my teacher is the best teacher. I feel that without my teacher, my Chinese will definitely not improve so much. I’m very happy because, at Keats, I have improved my Chinese significantly.

Intensive One-on-One Chinese Classes

I can’t tell you how much I liked it. The thing I liked about the teachers and the teaching method is that there is so much flexibility. The other thing I liked about the teaching is the combination of classic textbook learning and going outside. I loved it! I like getting to know other students. Everybody shared the same goal and that’s making their Chinese better. Kunming is a big city, but it is very safe to live here. Another thing I liked about Keats is the idea that people here help you. I can’t recommend it enough. I think it was a valuable experience. Looking forward to coming back!

Intensive One-on-One Chinese Classes

One thing I really liked was that I was able to work with my teacher to make an individual plan of study. Another really nice thing is that you live at the school, you feel completely safe.  You always have a group of people who are willing to do things with you on the weekends or in the evenings. They are serving you all the 3 meals a day, the food was excellent.

Small Group Chinese Class

The place is very cool. I am with a great group of people in my class, so coming to classes is very enjoyable. It is fun, we have a lot of discussions, games, activities. Our teachers are also very good, very supportive. Learning Chinese is intimidating at the start because you have so many questions. But I would advise coming to Keats because the atmosphere for learning is great. It is very relaxing. I would recommend the school.

Small Group Chinese Class

I think Kunming is a great city, the weather is really good. I really like Keats school and found it is very organized. The teachers here are very good. They have a coffee shop and new classrooms, a new lounge area here now, so you can chill out with your friends and practice your spoken Chinese with natives. If you’re considering coming to Keats to study, I would really recommend it. It’s the best place to learn Mandarin and I think it will be a great experience for you.

Intensive One-on-One Chinese Classes

In the one-to-one intensive Chinese course, you can choose the learning method you like. The small group Chinese class in China at Keats follows the HSK textbook. Teachers often collect feedback from the students, teachers listen to our requirements and opinions. I felt that my oral level is better than before .

I think Keats is one of the best language schools I have ever been to. My teacher is such an amazing person. She is so good at teaching. She makes classes fun. I have learned a lot of vocabulary during my time here. I would really recommend coming to learn Mandarin Chinese at Keats School.
