After a long wait of 3 years, China finally opens its border today, on Jan 8th, 2023! We can’t express how excited we are to finally welcome you to study Chinese in China. I know many of you have also been waiting to come to China. Although we have been through a hard time in the past three years, we renovated existing school dorm rooms, finished decorating more new dorm rooms, and prepared a brand new gym in the school.
We want to express our sincere gratitude to all the students who donated masks when COVID first started, who paid tuition fees in advance to support the school, who paid tuition fees but were unable to come due to China’s COVID policies, who have been studying with Keats online or offline, who have been in contact with Keats caring about China’s situation, who follow Keats’s social media accounts, and who have passion about China and Chinese language. From today, Jan 8th, 2023, you can apply for an X2 student visa to come to China. It is not a problem that L tourist visa hasn’t been resumed temporarily yet, because you can apply for an X2 student visa for a Chinese language program that is 1 week to 24 weeks long.
