Various Kinds of Gifts from Foreign Students

After busy days of learning Mandarin Chinese in China, some of the foreign students had finished their study in Kunming Keats School and went back home. Some of those students took a long term study in China; while some of them just spent a short time hear in China.

Before leaving Kunming Keats School, some students had showed their opinions and given suggestion to the future development of the school. One of the students left his favorite book to Keats School, and he said maybe some students would need an English book like that.

Another student gave a beautiful bookmark made by his wife to our school. He said he was so grateful about all Keats School had done for him during his days in Kunming. He had even sent a plate to the chef in Keats School as he knew the chef loved beautiful plate.

All students said that even they went back home, they would miss the days here. They also added, “Keats School is really a good place to learn Chinese in China as the school has not only cared about out study, it has also paid much attention to our daily life.” Some other students said they did have anything to complain about Kunming Keats School.

Intensive One-on-One Chinese Classes

I have been to Keats School to learn Chinese for 4 times now. The reason for coming back to this school is pretty much that the teachers I did work with were very good Chinese teachers. I make it a 5-year plan or even a 10-year plan to come back to this school.  All the teachers have methods of looking at what your skills are. They are aware of at what level you are. I think it is worth for everyone.

I come to Kunming because I think the environment in Kunming is better and I heard that Keats School is better. I like the small group Chinese class because my classmates study hard and our teachers are very good. I like the teaching method of Keats because I like the activities at Keats. I think Yunnan is a particularly beautiful Chinese province.

Intensive One-on-One Chinese Classes

This is my second time coming. Last year, I also came for about 12 weeks. This time I came for 13 weeks of a summer program in China. The reason why I particularly want to come to this school was because of the one-on-one classes. I was able to increase my level and learn Chinese more quickly than in group classes. If I have a chance again to come next year, I certainly will.

The teachers at Keats know how to read the students and how to help students learn Chinese language easily. They know the level of the students. Kunming is a great place to learn Chinese in China because not many Chinese on the street speak English. Keats has been a great school for me and a lot of other foreigners who studied in China recommended it to me. I think they are all right. The study method here is really structured. They make learning Chinese really easy. There are also a lot of cultural and natural places to visit.

My first semester that I studied at another school, and the pressure there was pretty high, the classroom hour was long, and the homework was pretty tedious. Since I came to Keats, I found I have a lot more opportunities to speak in the classroom. My classmates all are fluent and love speaking and participating in the class. Intensive One-on-One Chinese Classes

One thing I really liked was that I was able to work with my teacher to make an individual plan of study. Another really nice thing is that you live at the school, you feel completely safe.  You always have a group of people who are willing to do things with you on the weekends or in the evenings. They are serving you all the 3 meals a day, the food was excellent.
