Q：Why do you want to come to China with your family?
We love Asia! Lionel worked in Asia before and we made many friends and got many helps from them. And one of our friends was from Kunming and he introduced many good things about Kunming so we decided to come to Kunming.
Q: How did Keats School help you before you came?
Earlier of this year, Johanna contacted with Keats School via emails about studying Chinese from June. Because only Johanna and I study Chinese, Keats arranged a family room and meals plan for our children. After that they sent documents to help us apply for visas. They kindly reminded us to apply for the authentication in Chinese embassy to avoid the future problems when we change visas in China. Because we’ve got the authentication, we don’t have to leave or pay more if we need to extend our visas in China.
Q: How do you feel about the Chinese classes at Keats School?
We appreciate that Keats’ flexible arrangement about the classes. Our children are young and one of us needs to take care of them while another is studying. Keats arranged my class in the mornings and Johanna’s in the afternoons.
And our teachers were really helpful when we looked for an apartment. They gathered the information, accompanied us to check apartments, translated contract for us and so on. And we’ve finally found an ideal apartment close to school.
The qualities of class are high. We both learned a lot with our teachers and since August, Johanna started to learn Chinese in small group classes and I chose to continue study in one on one program. We can learn in our favorite’s ways and we both improved a lot in 3 months. And we are happy and satisfied with our life in Kunming and we would like to stay here longer.
