Outdoor Class – Take Subway

This week there was a good news in Kunming, the subway line 1 opened from Xiaodong Cun to University Town. All locals were excited about this news. It is the first subway in plateau of China. It is 22.144 km and 12 stations. The price is from 2 RMB to 5 RMB. Subway line 1 is connecting Kunming to Chenggong.

This Wednesday one of our students who learn Chinese in Kunming went to experience this subway with his teacher. They had a special outdoor class. They set off at noon and they took bus to the first station and bought ticket. Students bought the ticket from a ticket machine. And they went to South University Town. There were not too many passengers that day. And it took around half hour to arrive there. They visited the new campus of Yunnan University. Then they took subway back Kunming. It was a good experience for this student. And maybe when he back next time, there will be more subway opened.
