In order to help all students who learn Mandarin at Keats school have a better Chinese environment. Keats school made two boards for everyone to study Chinese every day. One is “Chinese corner” and the other is “Word for today”.

Chinese corner: we will collect the study achievements from our students like Chinese article, characters, sentences, and so on to put on this board. So you can learn from each other and show your Chinese learning achievements. Now there are more than 50 works was given to us from our students. And we will update every week, so if you have your works, please give to us. Perhaps next week, everyone at Keats school can learn from you.

Word for today: it is a good place for you to learn daily Chinese outside of your classrooms. Every morning, there is a teacher writes a new useful Chinese word on the board. When you go to school every day, you can learn a new word, of course, if you already learned this word before, it will be a good review for you.

These two new areas are just next to the elevator. When you wait there, please go to have a look, then you will learn Chinese day by day.

The place is very cool. I am with a great group of people in my class, so coming to classes is very enjoyable. It is fun, we have a lot of discussions, games, activities. Our teachers are also very good, very supportive. Learning Chinese is intimidating at the start because you have so many questions. It doesn’t matter what level of Chinese you have, or even you can start from the zero level. Your teacher will prepare the lessons according to your requirements. The advantage of living in the school is that you will have your tutoring, you will have your private accommodation with your own bathroom and all the meals provided. Everyone here is extremely friendly. Kunming has a really nice climate. It is a very good mix of the modern city and also a lot of historic Chinese culture.
