Tomorrow is the last day of dragon year and we are ready say hello to snake year. And tomorrow is the Spring Festival. Spring Festival is the most important traditional festival in China. While other schools in China were closed during this period, there are many students still study Chinese at Keats school. It is a really good chance for westerners to stay in China to experience this important culture.
For our Chinese teachers, they are happy about the snake year’s coming. For our students, they are looking forward to see what will be happened in Spring Festival. One thing we can tell is a celebration activity will be hold at Keats school tomorrow which is the last day from Chinese lunar calendar. The president of Keats school, Ms. Xue Feng will teach students and teachers how to make dumplings. And actually, every Spring Festival, Ms. Xue will celebrate with all students and teachers. Next week, we will show more details to you.
One of long term students, 都安 who study Chinese in China, bought some New Year gifts for all teachers. Every teacher was so surprise for the gifts. And the gifts, chocolates and candies, made our new year sweeter. Thank you so much! And all teachers wrote wishes and signatures on a new year card for 都安 as gift.
Keats wishes everyone has a good snake year in 2013.
