Answer Questions and Win the Game

On 4th May 2012, all teachers of Keats school got together at 7 pm to start a new activity. And every two teachers were in a team. There were 12 teams totally.

Mr. Yu, the teaching supervisor at Keats school hosted the game. And he read every question in many subjects. Then all teams wrote down the answers on the paper. After 20 questions, the teams needed to exchange the answer to check. And then 6 teams won and passed to the 2rd round because the highest score.

During the second round, Mr. Yu asked every team to choose the subject for another team. So every team wanted to choose the one that they were not familiar with to another team. And then, the team needed to answer all the questions in 10 seconds. And 3 teams went to the 3rd round.

In the last round, the last three teams answered the questions as fast as possible. If they got the answer firstly and answered correctly, they got one point. At last, one team won. And the winner got three delicious and big chocolates.

Every teacher enjoyed themselves by playing games, tasting the snacks and drinks which offered by Keats school.

I took the one-on-one Intensive Chinese class for 6 hours a day. The classes are very interesting. The teachers are caring and the content the teacher teaches me is suitable for my level. The place is very cool. I am with a great group of people in my class, so coming to classes is very enjoyable. It is fun, we have a lot of discussions, games, activities. Our teachers are also very good, very supportive. Learning Chinese is intimidating at the start because you have so many questions. One thing I really liked was that I was able to work with my teacher to make an individual plan of study. Another really nice thing is that you live at the school, you feel completely safe.  You always have a group of people who are willing to do things with you on the weekends or in the evenings. They are serving you all the 3 meals a day, the food was excellent.

This is my second time coming. Last year, I also came for about 12 weeks. This time I came for 13 weeks of a summer program in China. The reason why I particularly want to come to this school was because of the one-on-one classes. I was able to increase my level and learn Chinese more quickly than in group classes.
