Another Keats Student Passed HSK- 4

阿都乐 who was a Spanish and returning student at Keats school. He studied at Keats school for 8 weeks this time. He finished his lesson today. And he got a really good news in this last week. He passed HSK-4 under his teacher‘s help.

HSK-4 is the most popular but very difficult Chinese exam. 阿都乐 was so hard working to prepare this exam. And his teacher also used many methods and exercises to help him to improve vocabulary, grammar, and so on. And his teacher encouraged him and used different materials to make the hard preparation more interesting.

After 8 weeks‘ study at Keats school, he passed the HSK-4. All teachers from Keats school feel happy about this news. And 阿都乐 will have a new goal for the future, perhaps is HSK-5.

We use a lot of games to learn grammar and new words. We have really good teachers, really patient. She helps us a lot. Our class is really nice and we have people from all over the world, different countries. We often discuss topics in Chinese in our class. I live in the dorm of Keats. It is very convenient. I don’t have to spend time traveling. You can just focus on learning Chinese.

I can’t tell you how much I liked it. The thing I liked about the teachers and the teaching method is that there is so much flexibility. The other thing I liked about the teaching is the combination of classic textbook learning and going outside. I loved it! I like getting to know other students. Everybody shared the same goal and that’s making their Chinese better. Kunming is a big city, but it is very safe to live here. I think the Chinese learning environment here is great. The teaching methods are also very interactive and fun. What I particularly enjoy here is the fact that my teacher does not stick to the textbook. We spend a lot of time discussing general topics, such as Chinese culture, world news, typical expressions used by local people. We also discuss social and economic topics.
