Keats teaching supervisors Mr. Yu and Ms. Ma have been to a unique Chinese Restaurant yesterday evening. It is called the Tusheng Shiguan: 土生食馆 which is located in Loft JinDin 1919.

This restaurant is famous for CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) and organic foods. All materials are fetched from small farms in Qujing city. The meats are from the grazing livestock. The vegetables are planted without any chemicals. They make their own Tofu, spicy sauce, hawthorn juicy, and palm white sprit. What’s more, they promised no MSG in their dishes.

Mr. Yu and Ms. Ma cannot wait to introduce this excellent restaurant to you.

It was located in a loft area which was originally a factory area 10 years ago. Mr. Yu likes the environment so much. He said the environment and decoration reminded him of his childhood. There are clay pots, cups, spoons and bowls representing the village life which no longer exist in the city any more. “The paintings on the wall, the warmly introduction about the restaurant, the blue tablecloth make you feel like you are having a wonderful time in a quiet and peaceful countryside.” Mr. Yu said.

The favorite part of Ms. Ma are the delicious and health dishes there. They ordered spicy beef, rice cake (er kuai), Tofu skin, fry potato, boiled corns, fry chicken with mushrooms and a vegetable soup.” All dishes are incredibly delicious!” Ms. Ma said surprisingly. They cooked the dishes with homemade methods to made the food very tasty. The cook used fresh tomato to fry Tofu skin which is a new way to cook Tofu skin, making the Tofu skin fresh and sweet. Another dish was highly recommended by Ms. Ma was the Fried Chicken with Mushrooms. “The chicken meat tasted so fresh and different from the one from local market.” Ms. Ma said “They cooked the chicken and mushrooms with fresh gingers, so there is a special fragarance from that dish.”

The staff there can introduce the dishes for you in English, so you don’t have to worry about what to order. Because of the tasty foods and unique environment, many people gave 5 stars for this restaurant.

You can take bus No.1 on Tuodong road, which is next to our school, to the JinDingYuan (金鼎园) station. After getting off the bus, please to across the street and you will find an intersection of JinDingShan Bei Lu（金鼎山北路）. Go straight on this road for 1 minute. Loft JinDing 1919 will be on your right hand side. Walk in then you can find Tusheng Shiguan Restaurant. Have a good time and enjoy the GREAT food!
