2013 Greats Wall Marathon was one of the famous competition fro foreigners. Our student Rebekah who studies Chinese in small group class attended this competition. And she got a good result – 31! After she returned to school, she shared this good news and her medal with her teacher and classmates. She also shared her experience in Beijing in Chinese. She has leaned some texts related with Beijing. And this time, she went to visited many popular sightseeing spots. She is glad that she could use many Chinese in her trip after 3 month study in Keats small group Chinese class.

Everybody congratulated her and gave the best wishes for her. We hope she can join the next year’s marathon and get a better result. For supporting her to attend this competition, her teacher helped her to catch up the important part which she missed. And Rebekah is a hard working student. She has already caught up everything. She is studying Chinese and running for her dream. Keats School hopes she can achieve a better result in her Chinese study and sports’ life.

Last year I started studying Chinese at University. The reason that I came here is that currently, I’m preparing for the HSK 5 test. Also, I heard that this is one of the best schools to study Mandarin in China. I think the Chinese learning environment here is great. The teaching methods are also very interactive and fun. What I particularly enjoy here is the fact that my teacher does not stick to the textbook. We spend a lot of time discussing general topics, such as Chinese culture, world news, typical expressions used by local people. We also discuss social and economic topics.

I think Kunming is a great city, the weather is really good. I really like Keats school and found it is very organized. The teachers here are very good. They have a coffee shop and new classrooms, a new lounge area here now, so you can chill out with your friends and practice your spoken Chinese with natives. If you’re considering coming to Keats to study, I would really recommend it. It’s the best place to learn Mandarin and I think it will be a great experience for you.

The place is very cool. I am with a great group of people in my class, so coming to classes is very enjoyable. It is fun, we have a lot of discussions, games, activities. Our teachers are also very good, very supportive. Learning Chinese is intimidating at the start because you have so many questions. But I would advise coming to Keats because the atmosphere for learning is great. It is very relaxing. I would recommend the school.
