A New Equipment to Help Learn Chinese

In order to help all students to learn Chinese better and have more opportunity to immerse in a Chinese environment, Keats bought a TV and put in our cafeteria. There are not only TVs in each room, but also a TV in public area. Besides learn Chinese at school and practice with Chinese friends, our students will watch Chinese programs and learn more daily Chinese when they have meals.

Day by day, our students will find out they actually learn something from the TV in our Cafeteria. We will choose the popular Chinese channels and programs for students and during the weekends, we can sit down and share a Chinese movie together.

Our students will definitely get benefits from this new equipment, and our teacher will get benefit as well. When we have teachers meeting before, we could only use a laptop to show and share, sometimes it was too small to see clearly. Now we can use the 50’’ TV to show more teaching program. And it will make our meeting more interesting.

I really enjoy this place because we have private Mandarin lessons. I took the 6-hour program, 4 hours in the morning, 2 in the afternoon.
