A New Dish – Whitebaits Cake with Egg

Since Keats school has offered a new dish every week, all students have gotten the opportunity to try more variety of Chinese foods. And all students satisfied with Keats kitchen and thank our cook. One of our students said it is so worth to have 3 meals at Keats school.

There was a new dish for this week. And it was whitebaits cake with egg. Now is the season for locals to eat whitebaits which are nutritious. Our cook mixes whitebaits with eggs and marinates them. Then our cook fries them and makes them into a round shape. The taste is very fresh and it is crispy outside and soft inside. It is not hard to make this dish, but it is a very delicious dish on the dinner table.

This dish is not only popular in Chinese families, but also in Keats School.

I can’t tell you how much I liked it. The thing I liked about the teachers and the teaching method is that there is so much flexibility. The other thing I liked about the teaching is the combination of classic textbook learning and going outside. I loved it! I like getting to know other students. Everybody shared the same goal and that’s making their Chinese better. Kunming is a big city, but it is very safe to live here. I took the one-on-one Intensive Chinese class for 6 hours a day. The classes are very interesting. The teachers are caring and the content the teacher teaches me is suitable for my level. HSK Test Preparation Course

Last year I started studying Chinese at University. The reason that I came here is that currently, I’m preparing for the HSK 5 test. Also, I heard that this is one of the best schools to study Mandarin in China. This is my second time coming. Last year, I also came for about 12 weeks. This time I came for 13 weeks of a summer program in China. The reason why I particularly want to come to this school was because of the one-on-one classes. I was able to increase my level and learn Chinese more quickly than in group classes. The place is very cool. I am with a great group of people in my class, so coming to classes is very enjoyable. It is fun, we have a lot of discussions, games, activities.
