2011 Fall Semester Finished Sucessfully

2011 fall semester had started from the end of August and there were 20 weeks for the students who studied in the small classes. In this semester, we had 8 classes in all in differnt levels. There were 2 beginner classes, elemantary class A, elemantary class B, intermediate class A, intermediate class B, advanced class A and advanced class B.

All the students gave an exellent feedback at the end of this semester. Many students gave their teachers presents to show thankness and some invited their teacher to dinner. Also many students already registered the next semester at Keats School. And some recommended to their friends, so some friends registered too.

After 1-month break, Keats school will start the 2012 spring semester and all the teachers and the students are looking forward to meet each other again.

I come to Kunming because I think the environment in Kunming is better and I heard that Keats School is better. I like the small group Chinese class because my classmates study hard and our teachers are very good. I like the teaching method of Keats because I like the activities at Keats. Intensive One-on-One Chinese Classes

It doesn’t matter what level of Chinese you have, or even you can start from the zero level. Your teacher will prepare the lessons according to your requirements. The advantage of living in the school is that you will have your tutoring, you will have your private accommodation with your own bathroom and all the meals provided. I highly recommend everybody to actually take the whole package because you get to meet other students.

I’ve been at Keats school and Kunming now for one month doing the one-on-one Chinese lessons with two different teachers. I really enjoy it. Both of my teachers are very friendly and patient. One thing I really liked was that I was able to work with my teacher to make an individual plan of study. Another really nice thing is that you live at the school, you feel completely safe.  You always have a group of people who are willing to do things with you on the weekends or in the evenings. They are serving you all the 3 meals a day, the food was excellent.

Before I came to Keats School, I had no confidence in my Chinese proficiency. I did not have the confidence to speak Mandarin Chinese and chat with Chinese people. However, after 4 months of study at Keats, I become more and more confident in speaking Chinese now. Studying Chinese in China at Keats School has been the best decision I have ever made. There are many games in the class, and my teacher’s teaching methods are also very interesting. My experience at Keats School has changed my view of China and Chinese people.
