In the afternoon of April 11th, the opening ceremony of the seventh Sino-France Cultural Spring and the ninth French Films Screening was held in Beijing. Many main leaders that some of the foreign students study in China may know participated in the opening ceremony such as Bai Lin, French ambassador to China, Xiang Xiaowei, the deputy director general of foreign cultural bureau of the Minister of Culture as well as the director Wang Xiaoshuai and Gu Changwei.
The ambassador Bai Lin gave a speech in the ceremony, in which she expressed that this Sino-France cultural activity that more than 20 cities were involved introduced the essence of French and Chinese cultural essence. In addition, the fifth films exhibition also gave people a new interpretation to the representatives of the first generation of French films.
