Not long ago, the fourth session of Helan Mountain Cliff Painting Art Festival and the Cultural Industry and Tourism Industry Development Seminar were held in Yinchuan city of Ningxia province. According to some students who have taken part in it when they learn Chinese in China, the theme of this art festival was “inherit the human culture, publicize cliff painting and enjoy human civilization and progress”.
During this period, many famous experts and scholars in the field of cliff painting in domestic area were invited to discuss the issues about the protection, development and utilization as well as the deeply discussion of the development of cultural industry and tourism industry.
On the God of Sun Square in Cliff Painting Scenic Area which is at the foot of Helan Mountain, the fantastic performance at the opening ceremony brought the audiences back to the mysterious ancient times. Several European students who have come to study Chinese in China for a long time said that the professional performance troupes created the songs and dances which reproduced the living situations of the ancient people.
The scenes showed by the performers include the living and production scenes and sacrificing scenes. With the vividly performances and the rich expressive forms as well as the decorative costumes, the performers started to dance with the company of mysterious and exciting background music. With the combination of the modern art elements, the colorful culture with long history was vividly displayed.
According to the introduction of the organizing committee, in order to respond to the national policy of further processing the cultural system structural reform, this session of art festival will hold the cultural industry and tourism industry seminar lasting for two days. It will be helpful to find the combination point of cultural industry and tourism industry. There were totally 80 representatives from art field, tourism field, performing organizations and cultural tourism scenic areas attended to the discussion.
Many important relevant issues were profoundly discussed and solved such as the combination development of culture and tourism as well as the tourism market developing of the professional art troupes and scenic areas.
