Busan Philharmonic Orchestra in Beijing

Busan philharmonic orchestra held a concert in National Center for the Performing Arts, Shanghai Oriental Art Center and Guangzhou Opera Center. The concert was co-hosted by Chinese artists and Korean artists. As the 20th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between China and Korea, the concert held was to celebrate the big event. Li Xincao, the famous cantor in China, led the Korean Busan Philharmonic Orchestra to present a wonderful show in China. The concert was hosted by China International Culture Exchange Center and organized by China International Culture& Arts Company.

Many foreign students who happened to study Mandarin in Yunnan and were interested in music might know that Baoshan was the hometown of the cantor Li Xincao. As a brilliant cantor, he was named as the man to handle the magic stick. The show led by him and the violinist won much praise and applause from the audience.

Since the diplomatic relation between China and Korea in year 1992, the two countries respected and trusted each other, which laid the foundation to the peace of the two countries. The cultural exchange between was deepening along the days and music had become an important bridge to the communication between the people in two countries. As the pervasive exchange between the two countries, more and more Korean came to learn Mandarin in China.

The Busan Philharmonic Orchestra was founded in year 1962 and the orchestra witnessed rapid development due to many famous cantors. It became one of the most influential symphony orchestras in Asia. The orchestra presented many wonderful shows to the audience every year and the presenting contents included the representative works of all composers of all schools. The performing form included the regular concert during music season, universal education of arts, music tour around the world and opera concert.

Busan Philharmonic Orchestra had been to different parts of the world to present show tour. The tour to America in year 1997 was thought highly of by New York Times and Washington Post. It was worth mentioning that the orchestra had performed in China in 2002 FIFA World Cup Korea/Japan. The performance in National Center for the Performing Arts received great success and people present said the performance was great. The performance this time was the second time of the Busan Philharmonic Orchestra to China since the establishment of the orchestra.
