Just a few days ago, Guang Ming Daily, China Central Television and Phoenix Publishing and Media Group were holding the publishing ceremony of this book in the national conference center.
Many important relevant leaders attend to the publishing ceremony such as the principles in the Propaganda Department of the Central Committee of the CPC, the Central Foreign Propaganda Office and the News Publishing General Administration as well as the representatives who have participated in the cooking contest and the important leaders from the cultural field, the press community and the press circle. The manager of the China Central Television Hu Zhanfan says at the beginning of the book that book shows the inner quality of documentary with the method of in-depth reading, forming the unique extension and complement relations between book and documentary.
According to the introduction of Zhu Qing, the director of Guang Ming Daily, after the documentary A Bite of China was screened in the China Central Television, the press cooperated with Phoenix Publishing and Media Group to make the plan of compiling, publishing and issuing the book with high efficiency, winning the approval and the publishing authority of the China Central Television.
On the date of May 31st, Guang Ming Daily got the commentary of the documentary and the work of screenshot of the video and the pictures selection were finished on June 1st. Two days later, the book compiling and book beautifying were processed. The layout design of the book was completed on June 7th. When it came to June 11th, the book was taken to the publishing press to print.
It is introduced that Guang Ming Daily is in the process of preparing the compiling work of different versions of this book like Japanese version, English version and French version and so on. In this way, those foreigners who learn Mandarin in China will have a better understanding on this book. The news shows that the first batch of the book order has exceeded 200 thousand.
