As well all know, Chinese martial art is very famous and reputable in the global field. During the process from April 1st to 3rd, Shaolin Martial Art Troupe in Songshan Mountain of Henan province was invited by Antalya city of Turkey to performance the show for twice in Antalya Republic Square, attracting more than four thousand Turkey audiences and some foreign visitors to enjoy the performances. It is said that the Shaolin martial art show is one of the important programs in 2012 Turkey’s Chinese culture Year. It is widely known that Antalya city is an internationally famous tourism city in the world which ranks the fourth in receiving foreign visitors.
There were totally 24 members in the Shaolin Martial Art Troupe which went to Antalya city for performances, during which they showed different types of traditional Chinese characteristics kung fu performances to audiences in Antalya city. Some of the foreigners who love Chinese martial art when they study Mandarin Chinese in China may know the shows like eight trigrams boxing, tongzi gong, jingang quan, chuantong quan, jiti dao, jiti gun, ditang quan and luohan zhen and so on.
The performances were greatly welcomed by the foreign audiences, wining much applause. After the performance, some audiences even went to the stage to take pictures with the performers and spoke highly of their shows. Mr. Ademu, the director general of the Bureau of Culture of Antalya city also attended to watch the performance of the martial art troupe in April 1st.
After watching the performance, the director general expressed the gratitude to Chinese ambassador to Turkey and the Ministry of Culture in China for the support and help provided in arranging this martial art show.
