In the south of Baoxiu Town which is about ten kilometers far away in the west of Shiping County in Honghe, Xiushan Mountain is located with densely covered forest and many tourist attractions. Lotus Cave Grotto is one of the famous caves worthy of visiting. It is situated on Lingbao Mountain with the altitude of 2100 meters that about 70 kilometers away from the county seat. The back entrance of the cave is about three meters high, four meters wide and 15 meters deep, in which eight statues are graved. In the bottom of the cave, there is a statue of Tathagata with the height of 2.3 meters. Most of the caves were the works in the caves were made in Ming and Qing periods.
Another cave that the foreign students who study Mandarin online may be interested is Qianyang Ancient Cave which is on Qianyang Mountain in the north of Yilong Town. Many inscriptions can be seen on the precipitous cliffs. The entrance is facing the south with the width of six meters and height of eight meters.
