It was known that the Imperial Palace was also called the Forbidden City in ancient times. It was the palace for the emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties and it was on the list of the world heritage. He also said that the museum was the birth land, the initiator and the most important research base of the learning of the Imperial Palace. Thus, the researchers should take advantage of the museum itself, provide facilities and convenience to the overseas researchers and serve the society with more kinds of forms. The display of the collection of the cultural relics was a chance to make the public to supervise the management of the precious heritage.

The majority collection of the Imperial Palace Museum belonged to the precious ones. The number reached to 93.2 percent. The collection of the Palace Museum was in good historical order, which was helpful to investigate the nature of the collection. The Chinese culture was well reflected by the collection. For example, the painting and calligraphy collection could be used to hold a display; the porcelain collection could reveal the history of the development of Chinese porcelain.

The official said the Palace Museum could be compared with the British Museum in England, the Louvre Museum in French, Metropolitan Museum of Art in America and the State Hermitage Museum in Russia. The Palace Museum could be listed as the fifth top-five museums in the world.
