It is believed that there are certain principles when the separate words are filled in a sentence. When the foreign students are learning Chinese, they may be confused and ask the question how to learn Mandarin in a proper way. The teachers may then tell them to learn the language through a certain context. Whenever confronted with a sentence with a blank which requires you to fill in, you should understand the context of the sentence first. After the understanding of the context, the blank filling task will be not hard for the students. Now, we will do some blank filling exercises that relate to the involvement of the certain context to choose the right word.

First, let’s have look at the words that need to be filled in the blank. They are 尝试性，政治性，吸湿性，稳定性，创造性，基础性，逻辑性and 熟练性。The words all mean that something may possess some certain qualities or features. The word 尝试性means something is still in the process of trial, thus it possess the quality of 尝试性. The word政治性means that something is related to politics, thus the thing has the features of 政治性. The word吸湿性 refers that something can absorb the humidity and the vapor in the air, thus something has the quality of吸湿性. The word稳定性,创造性and逻辑性have respective meanings in English which are stability, creativity and logicality. The word 基础性means that something is the foundation for building other things, thus it is the 基础性 preparation work. The word 熟练性means that something can be made perfect through practice, thus something has the quality of 熟练性.

Next, the specific incomplete sentence will be understood to fill in the right words into the right context, namely the right sentence. First sentence reads that 纯棉材料的服装（）很好，适合夏季穿着。The word吸湿性should be filled in the blank since the context of the sentence is that the cotton clothes is good to wear in summer. We people all know that people like to wear clothes which will absorb the sweat. Thus, the clothes should possess the quality of hygroscopicity. Thus, the word 吸湿性should be filled in the first sentence. The second sentence reads that 从事IT行业的以（）强、精力充沛的年轻人为主。The meaning of the sentence is that the staff of the IT industry mainly centers on the youth who are energetic and have a lot of certain features. Then we all know that IT people are creative and have a lot of ideas in mind. Thus, the word 创造性should be filled in the blank. The third sentence reads that 你的这番话一点儿（）都没有，简直是毫无道理。The context of the sentence is that the words of the speakers are nonsense. Thus, the word逻辑性should be filled in the blank to emphasize the illogic contents of the speakers. The fourth sentence reads that 这部电影是一部（）的作品，导演希望用一种全新的方式表现人物内心的矛盾和冲突. The context of the sentence is that the director wishes to represent the themes of the film. The word 希望reveals that the film is new and is experimental, thus, the blank should be filled with the word尝试性. The fifth sentence reads that 很多大学提出要重点建设数学、物理等（）学科。The word基础性should be filled in the blank to emphasize the importance of math and physics for they are the foundation to learn other subjects well. The sixth sentence reads that 名牌电脑出厂前都经过严格的检测，（）应该有保证. The word 稳定性should be filled in the blank to emphasize the stable quality of the computers because of the strict test. The seventh sentence reads that 我认为听力是一种（）技能，听多了自然会提高的，我不相信所谓的技巧. The word 熟练性should be filled in the blank since one will improve the listening skills after much practice. The keyword in he context is 听多了 which means one gets much listening practice, thus, the word 熟练性is suitable in the sentence. The eighth sentence reads that 我的几个朋友对（）的话题特别有兴趣，讨论起来好像是在开人大会议. The context of the sentence is that my friends are interested in a topic and they will be like holding a meeting when they are discussing. Thus, the word政治性 should be filled in the blank since the word人大会议 which means the National People’s Congress indicates the topic of there is related to politics.

After the analysis, students taking the intensive Mandarin course in China should bear the process of analyzing in mind. The context is a key element in analyzing a sentence. When confronted with blank filling task, the students should do their best to figure out the key word and analyze the context of each sentence.
