For instance, 走好is a polite formula to wish the guest to have a safe journey. You may often use it when you say goodbye to your friends. Accordingly, you can say 我们还有事，就不远送了，您走好. Another frequently used oral expression is 做梦which is to refer to an illusion that can‘t be realized. It means “dreaming”, carrying the tone of blaming somebody. Of course, when you join an intensive Mandarin course in China for learning, teachers may teach you 做梦也没想到which has something to do with 做梦. It means something is totally out of one’s own expectation. The example is 他竟然打自己的亲生父亲，真是做梦也没想到.

During the reading process, you may often see the phrase 总而言之at the end of the articles. You should know it was often put in the end of the passages because it is applied to sum up in a concise sentence. Sometimes it can also be 总之 like你去也行，他去也行，总之，你们得一个人去. Besides, the phrase 总的来说is similar with the previous one but it is often used to analyze or draw a conclusion on the whole or from the main aspect like这次比赛，总的来说，大家发挥得不错.
