In the deep areas of the snow mountain in both sides of Nujiang River, many morainal lakes are spread. Since the morainal lakes are mainly distributed in the areas with the altitude from 3500 meters to 4000 meters, there are no people living there. When it comes to summer, the ice begins to melt and you can see the flowers are blooming from the top of the mountain to the lakeside, making it a sea of flowers. The crystal clear lake water reflects the primitive forests and wide sky and the white snow decorates the high mountains and alpine azalea more beautiful.

The circumference of this lake is about three kilometers and is surrounded by forests. It is possible to put up a tent and cook in the lakeside.
