It is recorded that Mahabodhi Temple there was originally built in Kangxi period. The temple got this name because there is a huge bodhi tree in front of the temple. There is a pair of stone animal statues standing at the gate named “Gaduo” who are set to protect the temple. Besides the architecture style of Han people, foreigners who study in China can also see the whole structure is the bamboo pole of Dai people. Besides, many art treasures in different periods are collected in the temple.
