With the total investment of eight billion Yuan, Seven-star Entertainment and Tianjin Binhai New Area government joint together to build the “China-wood” with an area of 800 thousand square meters, providing more convenience to the cooperation between both countries in the field of movies making.

According to the report, China-wood will provide three main services after it is finished, the first of which is films financing platform. The president Wu Zheng of Seven-star Entertainment Group said that the filming market in Southeast Asia is continuously expanding and will catch up with the film market in North America by the end of 2015, reaching the volume of 10 billion dollars. Therefore, some students who learn Mandarin in China think it is time that the films makers in the oriental and western to process closely cooperation. At the same time, China aims at building a one-stop high-end filming service platform combing financing, cooperation, publishing, marketing and infrastructure together, promoting filming cooperation between China and the US.
