Located in the southwestern of Chuxiong prefecture in central Yunnan province, Nan Hua is surrounded by three prefectures and connects with six cities and counties. The east of Nan Hua is about 197 kilometers far away from Kunming, the capital city of Yunnan province. About 175 kilometers away from the west is the historical and cultural city Dali.
