As long as the World Exposition is held, the World Exposition Garden will be remained as the permanent architecture. The construction of Shenyang World Exposition Garden is divided into two main parts, the gardening viewing area and the leisure and recreation area. To be specific, the whole garden is composed of four parts of contents. The first part is the gardening show, which is the core of the World Exposition. The recreation and development are processed one the basis of meeting the demands of AIPH requirements. The construction contents include the entrance square, two outdoor exhibition areas, two indoor exhibition halls, twenty theme gardens and the characteristic flower street and green valley.
The second part is for the leisure and entertainment which is built in the eastern expanding area. The environment for leisure and recreation is built with the decoration of flowers, grass, trees and other plants, making it the harmonious combination of gardening art and recreation, indicating another different gardening style. Some of the students who study in qualified Mandarin program in China may know the landmark architecture is the large performance square, including the agricultural fields of various countries, large scale play field, children’s park and the cinema area as well as other entertainment facilities.
The third part should be the comprehensive services area which is constructed by combining with the gardening architecture, forming the organic integrity. The construction contents include the tourists’ reception center, the large parking lot, tourist souvenir shops, the flowers trading center, Food Street and coffee bars as well as other bars. The last but not least part should be the exposition activities. In order to attract the tourists from home and abroad, all kinds of colorful activities are held. The contents include the ceremony activities, anniversary days, artistic performances, exhibition and trade activities, academic exchanges, etc.
The theme of Shenyang World Exposition is “the harmonious relationship between human and nature”. Just as all foreign students who learn Chinese language all know, the world is composed of human and the nature. The former one has thoughts, wisdom and affection while the latter is made up of plants and animals and so on. But all of them have life and all are living in the same environment. Therefore, only human and nature live harmoniously can the whole living creatures in the world can survive. The theme of this EXPO stands for a kind of proposition, call and posture.
