Chinese is well-known for their thrift and diligence. There are a lot Chinese proverbs about this kind of tradition. Chinese believes in “First bitter then sweet”, they think “The whole year’s work depends on a good start in spring, while the whole day’s work depends on a good start in the morning”. Although Chinese has the sense of misery, “prepare for the bad days when life is easy rather than mourn on the good days in predicament”, “it is the wrong plan rather than food and clothing that makes one bankrupt”. They think that “Knowledge is obtained by diligence and wealth is accumulated by thrift”, “Diligence is a cash cow and thrift is a gold mine”. Thrift and diligence is the typical tradition of Chinese that contributes to the stable development of the country.
