The opera Aida was made by the National Center for the Performing Arts and the New National Theatre Tokyo. The public rehearsal was held by all the singing performers. Wang Zhengming, vice president of the National Center for the Performing Arts, said the cooperation of the opera by the National Center for the Performing Arts and the New National Theatre Tokyo was to indicate thee friendly relationship between Japanese people and Chinese people. The opera would be performed by the artists of the two countries. He said the play would attract for the original form.
There were many actors in the opera and they were all excellent actors. The three leading actors came from Japan and another three actors were from China. The heroine He Hui was one of the most active and wonderful Chinese singers in the world. She was good at playing the opera and she had presented the opera on the stage for more than one hundred. The hero of the opera said he was impressed by the singing of the Chinese actors and that he could not find such good voices in his hometown Italy. Wang told the reporter that the rehearsal went smooth for the high level of the professional artists even though this was the first cooperation.
