Li Delun is a commander and the artistic instructor of the central philharmonic society as well as the Chinese musician Association the eighth vice president and the general director of the performing arts committee. Born in the year of 1917 in Beijing, Li Delun started to learn to play music. Fortunately, Li entered Shanghai National Music Junior College in the year of 1940. He has learned from many famous musicians such as Yupu Cuofu, Dukeson, and Franker and so on. Six years later, Li went to Yan’an in the west of China to act as the commander of Yan‘an Central Orchestra.
After the new China was founded, he served as the band commander of Beijing People’s Art Theater Band. However, he never stopped leaning more knowledge about music even though ha made great progress. When it came to 1953, he went to learn the commanding skills in Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory of Music and the Symphonic Music command training class. Some of the students learning in Mandarin language courses in China may know his teacher in that period was the professor Anosov.
During the process of learning, he has ever commanded for the National Symphony Orchestra in the former Soviet Union, Leningrad Love Music Symphony Orchestra and Quansu Broadcast Symphony Orchestra and so on, altogether more than ten philharmonic groups. In addition, he also joined in the performance of the Spring of Bragg Music Festival in 1956. One year later, he acted as the internship commander of the National Symphony Orchestra of the former Soviet Union. And he returned to the motherland to be the commander of the Central Symphony Orchestra in September of 1957.
Li has been invited to pay visit performances to the Europe, America and other countries for many times and even acted as the commander. If you love the commander style of Li Delun when you study in Mandarin learning courses in China, you might have heard that he was honored as the honorary award of commander by the Ministry of Culture in 1980. In 1986, he performed as the judge in the eighth Moscow Tchaikovsky in 1986.
