Homestays offer a unique cultural immersion, allowing you to live as locals and understand Chinese customs and traditions intimately. They provide an excellent environment for practicing language skills, and fostering personal connections.

If you choose the Semester Chinese Program or the Chinese Language Course + Volunteer in China program, you will live in the school’s dorm apartment. It is a single room with a private/shared bathroom.

Equipped with a small kitchen, the school’s dorm apartment is around 30 minutes away from the school by bus.

Studying Chinese in Chengde not only focuses on the Chinese language but also offers a chance to explore the local culture with a native Chinese speaker.
