Keats School is dedicated to helping our students improve their Chinese language skills from all aspects. Therefore, our mission is to help our students learn Chinese anytime and anywhere. Other than the highly convenient daily services for students who live in the school, we also offer personalized courses to students with different needs. We believe that many students enjoyed our teaching and our services.
The teaching supervisors at Keats help our students learn Chinese in their spare time. Recently, some students told us that they were very satisfied with their progress made at Keats. However, in order to encourage the students, the teaching supervisors at Keats created feasible plans for our students’ next stay as some of the students expressed that they hope to study at Keats again in the future or extend their stay at Keats. For example, Joy, teaching supervisor, spent two afternoons with one of the students to help him evaluate his progress at Keats. Firstly, Joy re-arranged all the materials he used in his course and re-wrote some practice tests for this student. Secondly, Joy gave the student a comprehensive test. Finally, Joy gave the student a list of suggestions on what to be improved based on the mistake the student made. Through the professional test given by Joy, the student told us that he fully realized his progress and his goals for his next stage of learning. Actually at Keats, every teaching supervisor is highly focused on every student’s progress through the Chinese language courses at Keats.
Keats teaching supervisor Margie realized that one returning student Lydia improved very quickly in her lessons, but Margie wanted to encourage Lydia speak more after class. Therefore, Margie tried to create opportunities for Lydia to practice her oral Chinese. What surprised Margie was that Lydia really liked practicing Chinese with Margie and she also prepared questions each time. When Margie encouraged Lydia to tell her experience in Chinese, Lydia even typed the stories in Chinese and printed them out, which impressed Margie a lot. Two weeks later, Margie found that Lydia now can not only freely express her personal opinions, but also type Chinese in her computer. Lydia’s mom told us that the progress that Lydia made can be helpful for a Chinese test which she will take soon.
Every time when we see the improvement that our students make when they learn Chinese in China Keats, the teachers and the teaching supervisors are very happy. All we hope is each student’s satisfaction when they leave and come back.
