Tianshan Mountain Spirit Art Exhibition Held in Beijing

On the date of April 7th, the Tianshan Mountain Hazi Aimaiti Art Exhibition was held in National Art Museum of China in Beijing. A piece of news comes from those who study in Chinese school in China that this art exhibition was hosted by Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Party Committee Propaganda Department, the Central Research Institute, China Artist Association and National Art Museum of China. Many important leaders of relevant departments attended to the opening ceremony of the exhibition and cut the ribbon at the opening ceremony.

During this art exhibition, more than one hundred representative paintings of Hazi Aimaiti created in recent years were exhibited, covering the forms of oil painting, Chinese painting and board painting. The contents are rich, the main ones of which are the efforts made by Xinjiang people to fight against the old society as well as the realism themes of constructing the good new life.

The works of Hazi Aimaiti are very good in expressing the unique aesthetic appeal of the people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang. The works are not lack of the oriental painting line shape and also have the color and flavor of western oil paintings, forming a unique painting language. If the foreign students are interested in painting during the process when they study in Chinese learning programs, they must have known that Hazi Aimaiti is the first generation of Uighur painter and art educator trained by the new China.

At the beginning of the 60s in the last century, the works named “Zui E De Shen Pan” meaning the judgment of the criminal which characterized by the critical realism aroused strong repercussions across the country. After that, the oil paintings such as Muqam, Qing Suan and Carpet•Uigur laid the foundation and the his status in the art field in Xinjiang and even in China. In addition, he created a series of the classical images of Uighur history and culture.

More importantly, he also devoted himself in art education during his creation period. After serving for the art education for over forty years, He trained several generations of arts talents of various ethnic groups.
