Third Sino-Russian Cultural Communication Festival

The third Sino-Russian Cultural Communication Festival was going to hold during August 18th to 24th. The theme of the festival was exchange of cultural trade, communication of culture, friendly cooperation and prosperous development. From year 2010, the Sino-Russian Cultural Communication Festival was held in Heihe City in Heilongjiang Province from then. The aim of the festival was to create the cultural trade and culture brands which possessed the cultural charm, economic benefits and global influence between areas in China and Russia. The service platform and export bases were aimed to achieve to establish new ways of cultural development. The festival would boost the economic, cultural and societal progress between two countries to deepen the understanding and friendship.

The third Sino-Russian Cultural Communication Festival set the establishment of the regional Sino-Russia cultural exchange as the goal, the cultural trade and cultural communication as the main task, the cultural trade as the focus to combine the force of communication between high-tiers and the public. The festival would keep a foothold in Heilongjiang Province and Amurskaya Oblast, focusing the Heihe City and Blagoveshchensk City and influencing other parts in the Heilongjiang and Province and Amurskaya Oblast.

The third Sino-Russian Cultural Communication Festival would include six parts of activities. The first part was the interaction between high-tiers leaders of China and Russia. The chief leaders of Heilongjiang Province and Amurskaya Oblast would lead a delegation of government members to visit Blagoveshchensk City and Heihe City. They would sign contracts of the trade and economy cooperation between the two cities. The items in the contract would boost the cultural exchange between Chinese and Russians who would visit China and more foreign friends would study Chinese in China. The second part was the culture exhibition. The works of paintings and calligraphy, handicrafts and photography works would be exhibited. The third part was the theatrical performance. Both people in the two countries would present a huge show which would display their cultures and arts.

In order to develop the tourism of two cities, the following activities centered on the tourism boosting of the two cities. The fourth part of the festival was cultural marketing conference. Relevant p ersonages who were related to stage art, cultural products, cultural agencies and enterprises would participate in the festival. The fifth was the cultural tourism. The aim of the part was to attract more people to travel to the two cities. Foreign friends who had ever been to China to learn Mandarin Chinese would find China had a lot of change through the years. The sixth part of the festival was public cultural activities.
