Located in the south of Wula Mountain of Yinshan Mountain Range, the Meiligeng Natural Zoology Scenic Area is in 30 kilometers of the western Baotou. When climbing up to the mountain, you can see the zigzagging Yellow River from afar and the west of the scenic area is Bayanzhuo’er Meng. With the meaning of being intelligent in Mongolian language, this scenic area is one characterized by a number of granite mountains with the shape of the large ball as well as the waterfalls and plant landscapes.

The most fantastic waterfall in this scenic area is named Meiligeng Waterfall which is composed of the crevice water because of the geological extrusion, colleting together into the waterfall with 66 meters.
