The Yaohe River is the place of origin of the Jingdezhen porcelain industry. The main raw materials of Jingdezhen porcelain are the kaoline and the kaoline is produced in the Gaoling Mountain near Yaoli. Beside the banks of the Yaohe River, there are many porcelain production sits such as the pits, kiln sites and workshops. Moreover, there are convenient transportation systems to support the porcelain production sites such as the water transport wharfs and ancient post roads. Yaoli is the main production site of Jingdezhen porcelain and the distributing center for rice, wood, tea and tea oil of Anhui, Zhejiang and Jiangxi Province. In the scenic spot, there is a splendid waterfall. The waterfall is 30 meters wide and it falls from a cliff of 60 meter high. The waterfall hits the rocks and water splashes to different directions. Yoali is also a suitable place to avoid summer heat. The tea produced in the place is ranked top ten famous teas in China. People going there can have a try of the tea.
