The First Emperor of China Qin Shi Huang

If you have a general idea about Chinese history, you might know Qin Shi Huang, he called himself the first emperor of China. He was born in c. 259 B.C. in the northwest China. His personal name is Ying Zheng. He was the king of the Chinese State of Qin from 247 B.C. to 221 B.C., ruling under the name First Emperor. But there is no denial that he made a lot to the unification and development of China at that time, even made an influence on all the later generations. Having unified China, he and his Prime Minister Li Si passed a series of major reforms aimed at cementing the unification. And they undertook some gigantic construction projects, most notably the precursor version of the current Great Wall of China. For all the tyranny of his autocratic rule, he is still regarded by many today as the founding father in Chinese history whose unification of China has endured for more than 2000 years, with interruptions. He unified the currency, the Chinese character, the roads and many first principles in Chinese history. Also, he is a notoriously cruel emperor in Chinese history.
