The leader of the art group said the development of the folk art performing group was related to the support of the government policies to protect and spread the traditional Tibetan dramas.

It was reported that the Tibetan dramas were called the live fossils of the Tibetan culture. In order to protect and spread this kind of cultural form, effective measures of protection and supervision were received from the nation and the Tibet Autonomous Region. The traditional Tibetan dramas were protected and popularized by the measures. For many foreigners, the culture in Tibet attracted them to take a trip in the wild prairie. Many people thought the study of Chinese was not only to study Chinese itself but also study the culture of the language.

From the survey and protection of the non-legacy resources in Tibet in year 2005, the nation and the Tibet Autonomous Region put much money and effort in the work to protect and popularize the traditional Tibetan dramas.
