The teacher prepares some cards with family members on them, such as grandpa, grandma, father, mother, son, daughter, etc. To teach Mandarin language much easier, we can divide the class into several groups, each act as a family. Everyone will get a card and prepare to act his role. When prepared, the teacher will tell the students the topic of this family discussing.

The topic can be some of the followings: 母亲介绍参加家长座谈会时了解到的小刚学习退步,丽丽与女友闹矛盾等问题;小刚提出要买山地车,丽丽要买化妆品;讨论国庆节加上周末的假期外出旅游计划等。

The best way to learn a language is to practice more. The methods mentioned above are very efficient to learn Chinese because it can practice students’ Chinese skills on all sides.
