To improve teaching quality is one of Keats School’s duties. We will update our teaching materials and methods every month. It encourages all teachers from Keats School use new things in their teaching and guarantees all students from Keats School learn the newest and practical Chinese.

Now we made a new place for showing teacher’s daily teaching. Every Sunday we will update what was the best teaching for last week. We will choose the best teaching methods, exercises or materials from teacher’s daily preparation. Then we will put on the wall, so teachers can go to have a look and learn from each other.

And this new place became a popular place in our school. You will find many teachers there to talk about the new methods.

I really enjoy this place because we have private Mandarin lessons. I took the 6-hour program, 4 hours in the morning, 2 in the afternoon. Even though it is quite a lot, the teaching is complimentary. This is very helpful because I could review what I did before and learn new things. My 2 teachers are fantastic. We live in the school, so it is convenient. It is interesting to me to meet people from all over the world.

I can’t tell you how much I liked it. The thing I liked about the teachers and the teaching method is that there is so much flexibility. The other thing I liked about the teaching is the combination of classic textbook learning and going outside. I loved it! I like getting to know other students. Everybody shared the same goal and that’s making their Chinese better. Kunming is a big city, but it is very safe to live here. Small Group Chinese Class

I come to Kunming because I think the environment in Kunming is better and I heard that Keats School is better. I like the small group Chinese class because my classmates study hard and our teachers are very good. I like the teaching method of Keats because I like the activities at Keats. I think Yunnan is a particularly beautiful Chinese province.
