The 2rd Yunnan Museum Announcer Competition was held in Yunnan Provincial Museum. It was a bilingual competition and all contestants were teenagers.
A Keats School’s American student who was taking volunteer program of Keats school was one of judges in this competition. This student was a current student at Keats School who had Chinese classes in the morning and went to the museum volunteer in the afternoon. The organizer of this competition invited Keats’ vice-president and this student to be judges for this provincial competition. The student was a good judge in the competition. He used Chinese to ask contestants some specific questions and it was impressed all audiences. He presented award to the winner of this competition. It was a good and important opportunity for him to have another experience in China.
Another American volunteer from Keats school also did volunteer work in this competition. The leader from Yunnan Provincial Museum thought highly of Keats school’s volunteers.
