Ms. Yu, an experienced teacher at Keats school, has worked for 2 years here. This week she came to school every day with the Chinese medicine because she felt a little bit sick. After she finished the morning class, she would heat the Chinese medicine and drank it after launch. And her students were worried about her health, so they suggested her to have a break. However, Ms. Yu told them because that the semester will be done soon, and she didn’t want to make any inconvenient to the students. For Ms. Yu, the teaching quality is the most important thing, and she is always willing to help her students more so that they had set up deep friendship.Although she was sick, she taught Mandarin with smile and passion. Even she made fun with student by inviting them experience the Chinese medicine.As we know, the teachers at Keats school are very responsible. It doesn’t matter what level of Chinese you have, or even you can start from the zero level. Your teacher will prepare the lessons according to your requirements. The advantage of living in the school is that you will have your tutoring, you will have your private accommodation with your own bathroom and all the meals provided. I think the Chinese learning environment here is great. The teaching methods are also very interactive and fun. What I particularly enjoy here is the fact that my teacher does not stick to the textbook. We spend a lot of time discussing general topics, such as Chinese culture, world news, typical expressions used by local people. We also discuss social and economic topics.

HSK Test Preparation Course

Last year I started studying Chinese at University. The reason that I came here is that currently, I’m preparing for the HSK 5 test. Also, I heard that this is one of the best schools to study Mandarin in China. After I came here I realized that Kunming is a pretty cool city to live in and with regards to the teachers’ teaching methods, I think they’re very professional. And I think the language environment is good so now I’m ready to take the HSK 5.

This is my second time coming. Last year, I also came for about 12 weeks. This time I came for 13 weeks of a summer program in China. I’ve been at Keats school and Kunming now for one month doing the one-on-one Chinese lessons with two different teachers. I really enjoy it. Both of my teachers are very friendly and patient. They really helped me to improve my Chinese, both of my reading and speaking. I really enjoy studying Chinese in Kunming as well. This city is really beautiful and the weather is nice, the air is clean. It’s one of the best cities in China to study Chinese.

I think Kunming is a great city, the weather is really good. I really like Keats school and found it is very organized. The teachers here are very good. They have a coffee shop and new classrooms, a new lounge area here now, so you can chill out with your friends and practice your spoken Chinese with natives. If you’re considering coming to Keats to study, I would really recommend it. It’s the best place to learn Mandarin and I think it will be a great experience for you.
