For example, the structures and expressions such as冷一点儿,深一点儿,高三度,大两岁,贵得多,早得多,高得多and快得多 are provided to fill the blanks in the following sentences.

(1)北京比我们那儿 。
(2)我姐姐比我 。

(4)他比我跑得 。
(5)这件羽绒服比那件 。
(6)这件的颜色比那件 。
(7)明天上海的气温比北京 。
(8)今天的气温比昨天 。

In order to fill the blanks correctly, the foreign students who study in Mandarin learning courses should know the meaning of the given expressions and the sentences structures provided. The meanings of the expressions are respectively a little cold, a little deep or dark, three degree higher, two years older, much more expensive, much earlier, much higher and much faster.

For the first sentence, it makes comparison between two places. Therefore, it should be related to the weather according to the given ones, thus filling 冷一点儿. As a matter of fact, all sentences are comparative sentences. And the second is comparison between two people and the most proper should be the age, thus filling 大两岁. When mentioning getting up, it should be late or early. Therefore, the third one should be filled with 早得多.

The adjective of describing running should be fast. When it is used in comparative sentence, it should be 快得多in the next sentence. The fifth one is about clothes, which reminds us of the price. Accordingly, it should be 贵得多. Students who learn Chinese online free all know that dark and light are often used to describe color. Therefore, the sixth should be 深一点儿. The last two are all about temperature and both 高三度and 高得多can be used.
