In the evening of June 2nd, as one of the important programs in 2012 Turkey Chinese Cultural Year and the Image Ambassador of 2012 Turkey Chinese Cultural Year, the famous pianist Li Yundi in China was invited by the Istanbul Cultural Foundation to hold the recital in Istanbul. Many important relevant leaders such as the Chinese ambassador to Turkey Gong Xiaosheng, the consul general of China to Istanbul Zhang Qingyang, the cultural counselor to Turkey Yu Jian and the chief inspector of Istanbul International Music Festival Ye Ximu as well as more than seven hundred audiences who love music enjoyed this piano feast together.
The Music Hall named Gemma Laster Ray Music Hall is the most famous musical hall in the city of Istanbul. It was name after the famous composer, pianist, commander and playwright Gemma Laster Ray in Turkey. Since it has been established, a number of famous symphony orchestra and musicians have been held, mostly specialized music concert and recital. Some overseas students who learn Chinese in China said that all seats were occupied in the evening that the recital was held. Li Yundi also presented fantastic and spent a wonderful night with so many audiences.
Li Yundi performed the fantastic and romantic the piano programs such as Nocturne, Brilliant Grand Polish Dance Music and Sonata.
