Accuracy in Chinese Grammar Points Explanation

In order to gain understanding on the important grammar points when students study Chinese, teachers should do some necessary explanation accurately in teaching. The accuracy of explanation is the precondition of teaching. If the explanation made by teachers is incorrect or not accurate, it will mislead the learners to study Chinese wrongly, even cause serious consequence. Therefore, teachers should read more references before they teach certain grammar points so that they can understand the points profoundly and thoroughly.

Under this condition, teachers in Chinese language program in China should absorb the latest research results and knowledge. For example, when explaining the application of 呢 in the sentence 你打算去哪儿旅行呢, teachers may say that when it is used at the end of an interrogative sentence, the mood will be gentle and polite. However, foreigners who study Chinese should know the explanation is inaccurate. We can‘t just say it is used in the interrogative sentence because it is not allowed in yes-no question. And there are some conditions when used in some other questions.
