De visumaanvraag was heel eenvoudig, want Keats School helpt ons daarbij enorm. Keats legt een grote nadruk op conversatie, dus we leren veel woordenschat en dagelijkse levensplannen, wat erg handig voor ons is om door de stad te gaan en met Chinese mensen te praten, wat het hele punt is van het leren van Chinees in China.
Ik heb 2 leraren en ik doe 4 uur per dag. Dus ik heb Dong Laoshi en Jin Laoshi. Beiden zijn erg goed. Ze hebben de ervaring erg leuk voor me gemaakt. Ze zijn altijd bereid om je te helpen, dus als je hier ooit een vraag hebt, zijn de leraren er altijd om je te helpen, of het nu gaat om visa of om de stad te verkennen. Iedereen wil met je praten.
Ik vind het heel leuk om Chinees te studeren in Kunming bij Keats. De docenten zijn geweldig en mijn klasgenoten zijn geweldig. Het is voor mij een onvergetelijke ervaring. Ik kreeg ook de kans om naar andere plaatsen in Yunnan te reizen. Die plekken zijn geweldig en je moet deze plekken zeker bezoeken als je Chinees studeert in China bij Keats.
De docenten van Keats weten hoe ze de studenten moeten lezen en hoe ze studenten kunnen helpen om de Chinese taal gemakkelijk te leren. Ze kennen het niveau van de studenten. Ik leer langzaam, maar ze zijn erin geslaagd zich aan te passen aan mijn leerproces. Ze maakten de les erg leuk, erg spannend. Ik ben blij dat ik niet alleen de cultuur en de taal heb leren kennen, maar ook geweldige vrienden heb kunnen maken, echt ongelooflijk, Chinese vrienden en Europese vrienden, Amerikaanse vrienden, van over de hele wereld.
Ik vind het erg leuk om hier te komen, want het is als een soort thuis voor mij. Het is een geweldige omgeving om Mandarijn Chinees te leren in China en geweldige mensen van over de hele wereld te ontmoeten. Iedereen is hier buitengewoon vriendelijk. Kunming heeft een heel fijn klimaat. Het is een zeer goede mix van de moderne stad en ook veel historische Chinese cultuur. Kreeg waarschijnlijk de schoonste lucht van China en mogelijk ook het schoonste water. Ik nodig je uit om Chinees te komen studeren in Kunming.
Kunming is een geweldige plek om Chinees te leren in China, omdat niet veel Chinezen op straat Engels spreken. Keats is een geweldige school voor mij geweest en veel andere buitenlanders die in China hebben gestudeerd, hebben me het aanbevolen. Ik denk dat ze in orde zijn. De studiemethode is hier echt gestructureerd. Ze maken het leren van Chinees heel gemakkelijk. Er zijn ook veel culturele en natuurlijke plaatsen om te bezoeken.
Ik geniet echt van deze plek omdat we privélessen Mandarijn hebben. Ik volgde het programma van 6 uur, 4 uur ‘s ochtends, 2 uur’ s middags. Hoewel het best veel is, is het onderwijs complementair. Dit is erg handig omdat ik zou kunnen herhalen wat ik eerder heb gedaan en nieuwe dingen kan leren. Mijn 2 leraren zijn fantastisch. We wonen op school, dus het is handig. Ik vind het interessant om mensen van over de hele wereld te ontmoeten.
Het beste deel van de school is het geduld dat de instructeurs hadden en de tijd om zich te concentreren op de grondbeginselen zoals uitspraak. Ik denk dat het heel gemakkelijk is om die over te slaan en naar woordenschat te gaan. Maar door de uitspraak te leren, heb ik het gevoel dat het me heeft geholpen de taal beter te begrijpen.
