Ik heb 2 leraren en ik doe 4 uur per dag. Dus ik heb Dong Laoshi en Jin Laoshi. Beiden zijn erg goed. Ze hebben de ervaring erg leuk voor me gemaakt. Ze zijn altijd bereid om je te helpen, dus als je hier ooit een vraag hebt, zijn de leraren er altijd om je te helpen, of het nu gaat om visa of om de stad te verkennen. Iedereen wil met je praten.
Dus tijdens mijn eerste week bij Keats durfde ik geen Chinese woorden te spreken. Ik kwam erachter dat mijn Chinees niveau sindsdien snel verbeterde. Hoewel ik veel opties heb om in China te studeren, hebben sommige andere scholen bijvoorbeeld een gastgezin, maar ik ontdekte dat ik me volledig kon onderdompelen in het leren van Chinees door bij Keats te blijven.
Sinds vorig semester zijn we Chinees gaan studeren bij Keats. Het was de beste keuze die we ooit kunnen maken. Het is echt een goede school. De lessen zijn erg leuk, je leert veel, maar erg interactief, dus je praat veel, wat betekent dat het niet alleen om boeken en schrijven gaat. Kunming is echt een prettige stad om in te wonen, zeker als je het vergelijkt met andere steden in het oosten. Als je van reizen houdt, als je op een leuke manier Chinees wilt studeren, dan heeft Keats het beste Chinese taalprogramma voor je.
Dit is mijn tweede keer dat ik kom. Vorig jaar kwam ik ook voor ongeveer 12 weken. Dit keer kwam ik 13 weken voor een zomerprogramma in China. De reden waarom ik vooral naar deze school wilde komen, was vanwege de een-op-een lessen. Ik kon mijn niveau verhogen en sneller Chinees leren dan in groepslessen. Als ik volgend jaar weer de kans krijg om te komen, zal ik dat zeker doen.
Mijn docenten zijn allemaal uitstekend. Ze hebben de docenten zo professioneel opgeleid. Ik heb het gevoel dat ik heel snel leer met mijn leraar. Ze nemen hun studenten heel serieus en ik weet dat elke leraar zo is. Ik zou je ten zeerste aanbevelen om naar Keats te komen als je op zoek bent naar de beste Chinese school in China.
Ik vind het heel leuk om Chinees te studeren in Kunming bij Keats. De docenten zijn geweldig en mijn klasgenoten zijn geweldig. Het is voor mij een onvergetelijke ervaring. Ik kreeg ook de kans om naar andere plaatsen in Yunnan te reizen. Die plekken zijn geweldig en je moet deze plekken zeker bezoeken als je Chinees studeert in China bij Keats.
Luisteren en spreken in de klas elke dag heeft mijn communicatievaardigheden verbeterd. Na drie weken werden mijn nieuwe woorden en zinnen steeds natuurlijker en vloeiender. Nu ben ik gewend om in het Chinees te denken, en ik begrijp beter wat andere mensen zeggen, om echte gesprekken met andere mensen te kunnen hebben.
Mijn eerste semester dat ik op een andere school studeerde, en de druk daar was behoorlijk hoog, het lesuur was lang en het huiswerk was behoorlijk vervelend. Sinds ik bij Keats kwam, merkte ik dat ik veel meer mogelijkheden heb om in de klas te spreken. Mijn klasgenoten spreken allemaal vloeiend en houden ervan om te spreken en deel te nemen aan de klas. We hebben een geweldige dynamiek in de klas.
